Fiona’s Harp
The harp that Fiona performs on was made by Sebastian Erard in Paris 1830 (French Revolution). It is slightly smaller than the orchestral harps of today, and it is a typically fairy-tale ornate-style harp. It is decorated with gold leaf and made of maple wood. It is magical in both looks and sound, ideal for your special occasion. This harp would have been used for performing “French Salon” music. Fiona purchased this harp from the world-famous harpist Sidonie Goossen, who performed on it during her student days.
Fiona is currently expanding on her repertoire of Jazz and Popular music and is very keen to get into the session industry and it is her ambition to acquire an electric harp. She would also like to direct part of her career towards songwriting, composing for harp, music for films, television advertisements, radio jingles and other commercial music.
Fiona can provide an amplifier for Marquees and outdoor events.
